23rd October
Sorry it's late.
On the 13th of this month i raced in my last meeting of the season at Shawbury, Shropshire. The last round of the 2007 FGA Championship. I didn't have the best of days and even had a fall in my first race. I managed to finish 13th on the day and have finished 9th in the FGA Senior Championship. I was hoping to have finished higher but i have only manage to have done 4 rounds so it wasn't a bad season really for me. Next year i will continue to race in the 125 class and stick with the 500 class aswell. I will have a monoshock nu-trak frame for the 500.
This season hasn't been one to remember for grasstrack supporters and riders due to the untimely deaths on Lester Goodwin & David Durham. Both Lester and Dave were personal friends of mine and i will miss seeing them out on track immensely. I would like to send my condolences to their family's and i'm sure they know how much they will be missed.
I will try and keep you posted over the winter in what i am up to. at the present time i am working in Boots in Shrewsbury Earning some money for next season.
I am still looking for sponsors. So if your interested and would like to help me out a small or as big as you would like then please feel free to contact me. It would mean alot.
Thanks again.

The last 500 meeting of the year for me, And it didn't go aswell as i would have liked it to, but it's all learning how to ride in the bigger CC class, next year i'm hoping to be more equipped with a monoshock frame. And hopefully a few rides during the winter too.

On the 13th October, Wrekin are running the final round of the FGA Championship at Shawbury. I'm doing ok in the 125 class this season and i hope to be at the top during this meeting.

Catch you all soon

Hello everyone,
Just to let you all know how i got on over the weekend.
On Saturday, it was the British youth international 125 final. There was a good turn out for the class including riders from the FGA. I had an alright day, i think i got better as the day progressed on the big track with on track starts. Overall i finished 4th behind winner Craig Dury, 2nd Lloyd Barrett, 3rd Rich Andrews. I had some good races with all three and in some with Rich Guest, who is really improving this year.   The meeting was without Tom Perry, who is out injured. Photos can be seen at www.mikegordonphotography.co.uk
On the Sunday i rode in the 500 class and on the big track i had a okay day, improving more as the day progressed.
This Sunday i travel to Hereford for the Ledbury Leader. I will be riding in the 500 class. This looks to be my final meeting of 2007 for me. I will be looking to get ready for 2008 through the winter and maybe get out and ride somewhere.
Thanks for reading!

Hello everyone.
This weekend i will be racing at tallington on both days. Its the Re-run of the international 125cc final which was rained off at Cullompton. I will also be racing on the sunday on the 500cc. I will let you know how i do.
28th August.
Sorry its been a while since i've updated. I   have been away for a few weeks and unable to update my site. The Meeting down in Devon was unfortunately cancelled due to rain, Which was a shame as i was looking forward to racing.
The next meeting i did was at shawbury in the next FGA round. I won the golden helmet and finished sixth in the meeting.
Then yesterday (monday) i rode at Ledbury and came 4th in the FGA and also rode the 500cc, improving in each ride. I would of liked to have done better in the 125's but these things happen.
I will keep you updated with any news i have for you.

26th July
Tomorrow (Friday) We make the long journey down to Devon for the International 125 youth british final. Its probably the biggest meeting on the calender for me. The meeting runs alongside the British Best Pairs which will boost the atmosphere at the venue in Cullompton. Having not raced in about 8 weeks i'm keen to make this meeting a good one and hope to come away from the place happy. The meeting takes place on Sunday and the class is full of young talented riders. Tom Perry, my good friend and rival will be looking to defend his title but with Rich Guest and Lloyd Barrett plus Rich Andrews The meeting should produce some close racing.
On another subject, i have learnt that the Bewdley Bonanza has been cancelled due to the aweful weather of late.
Thanks for reading.
Speak soon.

The following week see's a big meeting for me in the form of the ACU youth 125 international Final down in Devon, It's a big meeting with the best riders in the class from around Britain and i hope to do well on the bigger stage as the meeting is incorporated in with the ACU Best Pairs.

On sunday i rode at Bristol in the Ken Melksham Memorial meeting. The track was just as good as last year and produced some exciting and fast racing. I was racing in both 125 and 500 classes. In the 500s i managed to find a decent gearing and had a good day feeling more comfortable on the faster machine, I had three races on the 500 and seemed to improve as the day went on. In the 125s the bike seemed to be set up correctly and i had a good days racing, making good gates and managed to finish second in all my races behind steve carvill. This gave me second place on the day. I would like to thank everybody at the club for running a good meeting.
Thanks for looking in.

Malpas again today, and the track was similar to last time. Very slick and Bumpy in places. I had two good practices and went out for my first ride feeling happy with how i was riding. I made a fairly good start but in the first turn came together with another rider. The race was stopped and re-run. This time we got away clean and i ran a second. I had another second in my next race and then after the break there was a crash in the juniors, so the meeting was held up for a while. In my next race i made a good start and lead from start to finish, this was my first win in the senior class. in my next ride i came fourth then in my 5th ride i came second. My last ride saw me have another race win. This gave me joint 3rd on the day with Dave Carvill and i now lie 2nd in the senior championship.
Thanks

This weekend see's the second round of the formula Grasstrack championship return to Malpas, Cheshire. This Venue played host to the first round a few weeks back which produced some close and exciting racing. I finished sixth on the day which i was pleased with as i was having problems all day and not quite performing as i would like to. I am hoping for a good day on Saturday after Bewdley which i really enjoyed. I hope the conditions are good enough for racing and we see some more close racing that the FGA produces.
If you are new to the website Please sign my guestbook page just to let me know what you think to the site.

Today i was out at Bewdley. With the weeks rain it was expected to atleast shower at some point today but it didn't happen! The track was superb and fast but rutted up pretty bad towards the end of the day. I had a good days racing in both 125 and 500 classes. Getting faster towards the end on the 500. i made the 500 semi which i was happy with and finished 4th in the 125 class. I enjoyed todays meeting which was run really well.
Thanks to all involved.
